The holiday season is a time when the rich are reminded that they are rich. The credit card is swiped numerous times and the ATM is frequented as we buy all kinds of gifts for people who we love and sometimes even people we don’t (white elephant Christmas parties). On the flip side, those who are poor are reminded of that fact, as they cannot afford to buy gifts at Oak Court. Since this is the case, I recommend we use the resources we have to bless those who are unable to give back to us. By doing this we will receive a blessing that is more valuable than anything on our Christmas list; we will receive the feeling of being the “hands and feet of Jesus”.
